This post has two stories from my childhood about underwear.
Story #1
I was about 10 years old. It was winter. I did not have any clean underwear. So, I dressed for the day with no underwear. I was outside in all of my winter clothes. Cade and I were working/playing together. I needed to go to the bathroom. I walked around the corner of the barn, removed my gloves, and produced some yellow snow! Unfortunately, when I zipped my pants after I finished, I pinched the skin in a more sensitive area in the zipper. Ouch!
After that experience, I never dressed in no underwear again if I had zipper pants.
Story #2
I was in the fourth grade. The fourth graders were working on a play to present to our parents. One day, our teacher had a small group of us go to the gym to paint a large backdrop for the play.
I do not remember the backdrop scene. However, I was painting something using green paint. While we were painting, I needed to go to the bathroom. I went to the boy's bathroom. I had green paint on my hands. But I needed to pee really bad and did not have time to wash my hands.
Because I only had a little paint on a couple of fingers, I thought I could be careful and not get paint on anything. I was extra cautious undoing my pants and going to the bathroom. After I finished, I was very proud of my abilities. I could not see any green paint on my pants.
That night, when I got home from school, I changed clothes before going outside to do chores. To my surprise, my underwear had green fingerprints all around the fly opening of my underwear! Apparently, I was not as careful as I thought.
