Dating - School Bus Pickup

I asked my friend Kristin Davis to go to prom with me in 1986. Before the dance, my prom group included Dan Putnam, Marc Bright, and John Jorgenson. Dan took Lisa Cunliffe. Marc took Michelle Britton. I do not remember who John took as his date. We all got together at Palisades Lake earlier in the day and then separated to get ready for the prom. The guys all went to my house to shower and get ready.

Gleno Draney had an old school bus that he converted into a camper. My dad and I asked him if I could borrow the bus for prom. I drove the bus and we picked up our dates. Then I drove to my house in Thayne. We cooked a steak dinner for our dates.

It was cool to show up at the high school for the prom dance in the school bus.

After the dance, we all went to Marc Bright's house to watch a movie. I do not remember what movie we watched. Gary Griffith and David Clay also joined our after-prom party.
