On November 15, 2020, we (Annette, Truman, Ashton, Tate, Addison, and I) played a game of Clue.
Early in the game, Ashton made a suggestion that went all the way around the board with no one disproving his guess. (I think it was his second turn.) Based on his guess, within one or two more turns, everyone knew the weapon used was the Lead Pipe.
I had also narrowed it down to Mr. Green and eliminated about half of the rooms.
Truman moved to the Kitchen and guessed Mr. Green in the Kitchen with the Lead Pipe. We went all around the table and no one disproved him. So, he asserted that was the actual game solution.
Then Addison said, "Wait, did you say the Kitchen? I thought you said Dining Room. I do not have the Dining Room but I do have the Kitchen." So, now everyone knew it was Mr. Green and the Lead Pipe.
Ashton and I both had turns next but we did not make it to a new room to make a guess. So, Annette took her turn. She was already on her way to the Dining Room and rolled a number large enough to get there.
She guessed Mr. Green did it in the Dining Room with the Lead Pipe. We went around the table.
Addison, "No."
Tate, "No."
Truman, "No."
Ashton, "No."
Me, "No."
Annette said, "Okay, I accuse with those answers." As she reached for the solution envelope, Truman said, "Wait, did you say Dining Room?" paused, and then said, "I was just kidding. I wanted to tease Addison."
So, Annette opened the solution envelope and said, "Uhh, it was not the Dining Room."
Truman then said, "Wait, I DO have the Dining Room, I forgot!"
It turns out, it was in the Library!
