In August 1988, Roxette released the song "Dressed for Success" as part of their new album. I was serving my mission at the time and did not hear the song until I got back home. One day, Keri and I were in the car with Mom when this song came on the radio.
Mom turned up the volume and said she liked the song. When we got to the chorus of the song, Mom started singing, "...I'm going to get dressed, for safe sex..."
Keri and I were both surprised. After the song ended on the radio, we told Mom that the correct lyrics were "...I'm going to get dressed for success..." It was pretty funny.
