Tanner, Emily, Bryce, and Gavin visited us on January 28-29, 2023. They came to see Ashton and Addison in the last show of the high school musical (Mamma Mia!).
Sidenote: A few weeks before this visit, Bryce and Gavin discovered the song "Down by the Bay" and learned they could ask Alexa to play it. Then, they then laugh at the silly rhymes in the lyrics.
On Sunday morning, I was ready for church and cleaning up the kitchen before we left. Bryce and Gavin came into the playroom in their church clothes. Bryce asked if I wanted to hear "Down by the Bay." After I agreed, he asked Alexa to play it.
When Alexa started playing, the volume was not overly loud. Gavin shouted"lexaturnupthemusic" in a run-on, garbled sentence.
Whereupon, Bryce said to Gavin, "Grandpa has old ears and does not want the music that loud."
