When I was in Primary, we met on Wednesday afternoons after school. Because Holdaway Elementary (my elementary school) was just one block to the north of the church building, all the kids from our ward would walk to the church after school was out on Wednesdays.
We would have combined primary opening exercises and singing time in the chapel before splitting into our classes for a lesson. One of my favorite memories from primary singing time was when the leader would allow the kids to pick which song to sing next.
My favorite primary song was "Little Purple Pansies." I remember just willing the song leader to pick me so that I could ask for us to sing this song.
