When I was the bishop in Oklahoma, I was watching the Deacons preparing to pass the sacrament while we sang the Sacrament Hymn. One of the Deacons suddenly had a huge sneeze. It was one of those sneezes that results in a large quantity of runny boogers coming out of his nose.
Fortunately, he used his right hand to catch all the snot as it was propelled from his nose. Then, he wiped his hand clean on the pew cushion. He finished just as the hymn ended.
Next, I watched as he used that hand to pass the sacrament trays among the congregation.
