Each Happy Memory of CHS

On Friday, May 22, 2026, Addison graduated from A&M Consolidated High School.

This event marked the end of an era.

As Annette and I sat watching the graduation ceremony with pride, I reflected on our family history with A&M Consolidated High School, or Consol as everyone calls it.

Jamie started high school in August 2007 as a freshman. In the nineteen years since then, eight Jasperson children have roamed the hallowed halls of Consol: Jamie (2011), Tanner (2013), Allyn (2015), Jason (2017), Truman (2021), Ashton (2023), Tate (2025), and Addison (2026).

During most of those years, at least two Jasperson children were enrolled at Consol at the same time. The only stretches with just one Jasperson at Consol were the early years when Jamie was starting out, the years between the bigs and littles, and Addison’s senior year.

Our family has spent countless hours attending athletic, theatre, music, dance, and other events at 1801 Harvey Mitchell Parkway in College Station, Texas.

I am so pleased with the school. The faculty, teachers, coaches, directors, and principals have significantly impacted our family for good. Each of our children benefited from different opportunities, challenges, friendships, and accomplishments during their years at Consol.

I am thankful for the valiant educators who touched our children’s lives.

When the school bell rings in August 2026, there will not be any Jaspersons at Consol.

I am sure Annette and I will pause for a moment and again remember our wonderful experiences at Consol.

Voices ring out to thee, hail CHS.
Hearts filled with loyalty to CHS.
Ever so faithfully, ever we bless
Each happy memory of CHS!
