- Elder Matt Boulden (14 January to 19 March 1987)
Bamberg
My first assignment was to serve in Bamberg. We supported the Bamberg German Branch and the Bamberg American Servicemen Branch. However, we lived in Himmelreichstraße in Bischberg (a suburb of Bamberg). After my first month, the mission president split the area. Elder Whitmore and I were assigned to the German Branch. Elder Liddiard had a new companion and they were assigned to the American Servicemen Branch.
- Elder Liddiard (19 March to 16 April 1987)
- Elder Boyd Whitmore (16 April to 16 July 1987)
Simbach, Am Inn
After four months in Simbach, we moved to Freilassing and "closed" the Simbach Branch to missionaries due to the decreasing number of missionaries in the mission. Elder Miller and I moved to Freilassing to serve in the Salzburg 2nd Ward.
- Elder DarenYoung (16 July to 17 September 1987)
- Elder Blake Miller (17 September to 5 November 1987)
Freilassing
I lived in Freilassing for two weeks and was transferred.
- Elder Blake Miller (5 November to 19 November 1987)
Weil der Stadt
Elder Christensen was a new missionary (only out one month). While we lived in Weil der Stadt, we were assigned to serve in the Stuttgart 2nd Ward. After one month in Weil der Stadt, the mission president combined our area with the Elders serving in Pforzheim (also the Stuttgart 2nd Ward).
- Elder Steve Christensen (19 November to 17 December 1987)
Kornwestheim
Elder Perez and I lived in Kornwestheim but drove to Pforzheim every day to proselyte. We served in the Stuttgart 2nd Ward (German-speaking) and in the Karlsruhe American Servicemen unit (I cannot remember if it was a ward or branch). The Mission Office staff finally found an apartment for us in Pforzheim. So we moved in February to a new apartment.
- Elder Alex Perez (17 December 1987 to 6 February 1988)
Pforzheim
- Elder Alex Perez (6 February to 3 March 1988)
- Elder Allan Guymon (3 March to 24 April 1988)
München
I was called to serve as the mission secretary in April 1988. The office Elders were assigned to serve in the Munich 1st Ward. We lived just across the street from the Mission Office in München (or Munich). When I first arrived, the American Servicemen Stake president was trying to establish a group (smaller than a branch) of members to meet in Bad Tölz ( I served in three trio companionships for one month while Elder Walhood trained me, while Elder Jensen trained Elder Berg (the mission financial secretary), and while I trained Elder Holton.
- Elder Kenneth Walhood (24 April to 24 May 1988)
- Elder Mark Jenson (24 April to 21 July 1988)
- Elder Darrin Berg (4 July to 27 October 1988)
- Elder Perry Holton (19 September to 27 October 1988)
Göppingen
I left the Mission Office with a new missionary to train. We were assigned to work in Schwäbisch Gmünd and open a "new area" that belonged to the Göppingen Ward. We also lived in Göppingen. While I served in this area, I was arrested as a robbery suspect.
- Elder John Love (17 October to 15 December 1988)
Stein
I was transferred to Stein for the last month on my mission. I served as a Zone Leader in the Nürnberg (Nuremberg) American Servicemen Branch.
- Elder Eric Ringger (15 December 1988 to 12 January 1989)
