From a very young age, our daughter Jamie insisted on having things just so. Jamie loved routine and continuity. In a previous post, I shared Jamie's love of the little golden book series.
One night, I was helping Jamie deliver her clothes from the washing to her bedroom. I opened a drawer of her dresser to help her put away her shirts and shorts. I was stacking the newly cleaned shirts in the drawer when Jamie stopped me. She took the shirts away from me and stated emphatically, "Dad, you are messing up my organized!"
Then, she put the shirts in the drawer the way she liked to have them.
