20th Anniversary Memory - First Baby

From the time you agreed to marry me, I looked forward to having (and making!) children. We made many lists together of names we would like to give to our children. (I tried to find my notebooks but could not find them…they must be in the attic somewhere.)

I remember our considerations of whether we could afford a baby and then finding out about the opportunity to work full-time in the MBA office which would provide full health insurance to cover the birth of a baby.

What a big decision to stop using the pill. That was kind of scary as that meant it was for real.

You were so cute that day when you picked me up from work at BYU Grounds and handed me the plastic pregnancy test device with the pink “+” showing!

We’re going to have a baby!
