Sometime during the first year after Annette and I got married, we visited Mom and Dad at the ranch in Thayne. One evening while we were visiting, we decided to watch a movie. Mom had some microwave popcorn and asked Annette and me if we wanted some popcorn.
Dad had been out of the room when we talked about making popcorn. Annette asked him if he wanted any popcorn when he returned to the room. Dad paused and then said, "There is only one way that I eat popcorn."
Annette said, "How do you like your popcorn?"
Dad replied, "By the handful!"
