Do you remember when we “invented” the “I love you” squeeze? I recall thinking how clever we were to have a secret love signal. While we do not get to sit and hold hands as often as we used to, I still get tingles when I give you an “I love you” squeeze and you return it.
Later, we also adopted “the sign of the clan” for us and the kids. How fun to have the kids know about the two secret ways of communicating our love for one another in our family.
